For Faculty and Staff
The Office of Video Services produces original video content that communicates the College’s identity as an exceptional institution of higher education to prospective and current students, alumni, parents, donors, supporters, other stakeholders, and the general public. Specifically, the video services staff focuses on creating video content that assists offices and department of the College in fulfilling and communicating their missions, and accomplishing the goals set forth in the College’s Strategic Plan.
The Office of Media Relations and Video Services will take requests for video and audio production solely through a request form. All requests must be submitted at least three weeks before the final video is needed. The Office will prioritize requests based on alignment with the College’s strategic goals and the availability of videographers/editors.
The Office will try to accommodate every request, but unfortunately, some requests may not be fulfilled. In this case, the Office will provide a list of alternative options. The Office of Video Services is not able to provide services for audio or video targeted exclusively at internal audiences.
Some examples of what the Office of Media Relations and Video Services will provide:
- videos showcasing faculty/research/academic experience
- videos featuring campus life and student experience
- videos of guest speakers with media and/or public appeal
- videos of events and initiatives of interest to prospective students/alumni
- videos for grant proposals
- videos for fund-raising, development and campaign
- podcasts featuring faculty/classes/students
- audio recordings of events with an appeal outside the College community
